Dr. Yuhning Linda Hu, MD, FACC received her undergraduate and medical training from the University of Virginia, College of Arts and Sciences and School of Medicine, respectively. Her Internal Medicine residency was completed at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio. She completed her Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Hu practiced as a Cardiac Electrophysiologist in the Quad Cities (Iowa and Illinois) region prior to joining FCCI.
Dr. Hu has given poster presentations at the Heart Failure Society of America and Heart Rhythm Society scientific sessions and authored book chapters in the field of cardiac electrophysiology. She has publications in Pacing and Clinical Electrophysiology (PACE), Heart Rhythm Journal, and Journal of the American College of Cardiology: Clinical Electrophysiology (JACC EP).
Her professional interests include diagnosing and treating cardiac arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation, supraventricular and ventricular arrhythmias, cardiac implantable electronic devices including pacemakers, defibrillators, cardiac resynchronization therapy and the mapping and ablation of cardiac arrhythmias. She is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the Heart Rhythm Society.
Dr. Hu is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
Outside of work Dr. Hu enjoys outdoor activities including cycling and hiking.
