Walid Abdalla brings extensive healthcare leadership experience to First Coast Cardiovascular Institute, where he serves as Vice President of Operational Excellence, Value-Based Care, and Strategic Initiatives. He leads practice-wide transformation efforts that strengthen clinical performance, improve patient outcomes, and position FCCI for success in value-based care.
Walid also leads the FCCI’s Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) and Office-Based Lab (OBL) as Administrator, setting strategic direction and overseeing operations and regulatory compliance to ensure patients receive safe, high-quality procedural care in an efficient, patient-centered setting.
His expertise covers healthcare operations, quality improvement, Lean methodology, data analytics, patient experience, project management, and healthcare finance. He combines data-driven insight with hands-on execution and is committed to building a culture of innovation and lasting performance improvement.
Walid holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Central Florida and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). He is an active member of ACHE, the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
