Being optimistic can actually benefit your heart health, according to a study done by the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. The study found that patients with optimistic mindsets had better heart health as well as lower odds of having a stroke.
A study published in the Mayo Clinic Proceedings also found that patients who have survived a heart attack and have an optimistic outlook are more likely to live longer. Stay optimistic during hard times and think positively about your future. With a balanced diet and healthy exercise, your heart can heal.
