Nina Hrustic is originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina. She moved to the United States at the age of six with her mother, father, and younger sister. Nina always knew she wanted to work in a profession where she would be able to help other people, so she decided to become a nurse. She graduated with her bachelor’s in nursing in 2015 from Chamberlain University. She worked at St Vincent’s Medical Center for 5 years, where she worked in telemetry care for two years, and spent the last three years working as an intensive care nurse.
Nina graduated with her master’s in nursing in 2021 from Chamberlain University. She is a certified nurse practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is excited to be part of the team at First Coast Cardiovascular Institute, where she will be able to continue providing exceptional patient care and will be able to learn from some of the best providers.
On her free time, Nina enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She also enjoys meeting new people, trying different foods, traveling, and riding her bike.
