Luckily, there are lots of offbeat exercise options in Northeast Florida that will mix up your daily routine and get you back on track. We’ve listed a few ideas below, but you can also check sites like Groupon or LivingSocial if you want to get a great deal on a new workout.

  • Rebounderz Trampoline-Based Bootcamp – Trampolines aren’t just for kids! Rebounderz holds weekly trampoline bootcamp classes that, according to their website, burn 1,000 calories an hour. Exercise so fun it doesn’t even feel like a workout? Count us in!
  • Dance Trance Fitness – Dance Trance is a high-energy cardio dance class with 3 locations in Northeast FL. With popular music and fun dance moves, you’ll get your heart racing in no time! They welcome all experience levels from beginners to advanced, and with their PACE program, your first class is free!
  • Purre Barre – This mix of ballet, yoga, and weight training features low impact movements set to motivating music. With three locations in Jax Beach, Riverside, and Southside, and another one opening in San Marco soon, they also have various specials for new clients.
  • Muay Thai is an ancient form of boxing/combat that’s recently become popular. This focused workout can be a great way to burn calories and work off stress.
  • Belly Dancing – For a more exotic experience, try a belly dancing class at Anais Belly Dance Studios. They give it a twist with classes like “tribal fusion,” “shimmy chic fitness,” and even a Belly Kids class!
