Melanie Bautista is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She graduated from Simmons University in Boston, MA and specializes in family practice and preventative medicine. A Jacksonville native, Melanie has served this community for over ten years.
Her experience as an Intensive Care Nurse at Baptist Medical Center prior to her career as a Nurse Practitioner gives her the insight to empower and advocate for her patients. She maintains her Critical Care Certification and she prides herself on patient-centered care that begins with listening to her patient’s values and goals of treatment. This way, she is able to individualize care and maximize patient outcomes and quality of life. She is a member of the Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
