Kirby Tyler was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. Kirby attended the University of South Florida in St. Petersburg, Florida. Shortly after, she moved to Uganda, Africa and worked alongside the local government to provide immediate relief and long-term restoration to children in dire need.
Kirby is passionate about people and strives to be of use with the life she has been given. As the Medical Staff and Credentialing Specialist, Kirby is able to support the physicians and allied health professionals by ensuring that their licensures and credentials meet government standards.
Kirby has the privilege of being one of the first contacts a physician has with the practice and assists them during the hiring process and whilst working for the organization. “I am fortunate to create one of the first impressions a physician has with FCCI. If I can be a friendly face or help ease the stress one may have when joining a new practice, then I’ve done my job. I’m glad to help our providers so that they may focus on what is truly important: the patients.”
Outside of work, Kirby is a regular volunteer at Wolfson Children’s Hospital and at her church. She enjoys being in the sunshine and taking her dog, Finley, with her wherever she goes; whether for brunch, on a weekend road trip, or on the river with her family. She lives by her favorite quote, “Three things in human life are important. The first is to be kind. The second is to be kind. And the third is to be kind. -Henry James”
