Jason Roberts, DHSc, RVT
General Manager of Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Services
Jason Roberts joined First Coast Cardiovascular Institute in 2007, he is a Registered Vascular Technologist, and currently the General Manager of Non-Invasive Cardiovascular services, and technical director of non-invasive vascular services. Dr. Roberts is responsible for a multitude of duties as they pertain to cardiovascular services, with an emphasis on the broad and varying uses of non-invasive vascular technology in the interventional suites.
Dr. Jason Roberts earned his Doctorate of Health Science in 2011 from Nova Southeastern University, which he is currently alumni, and clinical site for the vascular technology program, and physician assistant programs. He also holds a dual Masters of Health Science with an emphasis in Higher Education, a Bachelors of Health Science in Vascular Technology, and an Associates in Radiological Sciences.
Dr. Roberts also holds two certificates in conflict resolution and negotiations in healthcare, membershipsto the Society of Vascular Ultrasound, Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, and American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
Dr. Jason Roberts is the author of multiple publications regarding the diseases of the human vascular system. He has also lectured extensively on appropriate use, qualitative metrics, and vascular disease at various seminars/symposiums and academic institutions. He was also elected to various designations within vascular technology and the further advancement of the field.
Alongside of his daily role in the clinical setting, Dr Roberts is also a part time Professor of Health Science, Healthcare Administration, Health Law and Ethics, Healthcare Research, Healthcare Facility Design, and Healthcare Conflict Resolution, along with other teaching designations at various academic institutions.
