Ibrahim Fahdi, MD, FACC, FASE
Cardiovascular Disease
Ibrahim E. Fahdi, MD, FACC, FASE joined the First Coast Cardiovascular (FCCI) team July 2018. He brings with him his lovely wife, Nadine, and two beautiful daughters.
Dr. Fahdi received his Doctorate of Medicine in 1992 from Aleppo University Faculty of Medicine in Aleppo, Syria. He performed his postgraduate training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease in 2004.
In his 8 years’ tenure in Arkansas, Dr. Fahdi was very active in his roles as the Director for the Cardiac Non-Invasive Laboratory, the Co-Director for the UAMS Cardiovascular Center, the Director for Cardiac Telemedicine, and associate Director for the Cardiology Fellowship Program. “I have enjoyed my involvement working with and preparing the new generation of physicians”
In addition to his dedication to patient care, Dr. Fahdi also has the honor of academic appointments at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he has served as a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine over the last fourteen years.
Cardiology is the type of medicine that would provide instantaneous gratification by saving lives at risk and also, by caring for the patients’ chronic disease process, ameliorating their symptoms and improving quality of life.
Dr. Fahdi believes that providing care should come with spending adequate time with the patient and family, listening to their questions and providing enough information, not only to treat the current problem, but also, to prevent future events.
Above all, Dr. Fahdi brings a tremendous sense of humility, compassion and ethics to his patient care. He comes to our practice with a wealth of experience and expertise that will be a great asset to the FCCI team.
