Nuclear Medicine Technologist Opening

Location: Travel is required.
Job Duties: Perform Nuclear Medicine cardiac procedures
Hours: Monday-Friday. No weekends. No holidays.

Requirements:
-Graduated from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
-Registered by a Nuclear Medicine Technology Board (CNMT) or ARRT(N) is required
-Florida State License in Nuclear Medicine is required
-BLS and/or ACLS is required within 60 days of start date   (delete “or”)

Essential Requirements:
-Skill in intravenous puncture skills
-Perform cardiac imaging and analysis
-EKG skills including basic interpretation
-Proficiency in performing various stress test protocols including both exercise and pharmacologic
-Perform quality control on cameras and hot lab instruments
-Follow radiation safety procedures and record keeping
-Assist cardiologist in emergency situations

Nuclear Cardiology at FCCI is a staple in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of Coronary Artery Disease (CAD). While performing over 3,000 stress tests annually, it is the goal of FCCI’s accredited laboratory to provide a comfortable and safe environment for every patient.

Qualifications

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Paychex FLEX, internet software, Paychex HR Online, and eClinical Works.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Valid driver’s license
