Elias Demetree graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelors of Science in Finance. Following his education, he worked for Bank of America, formerly Barnett Banks, in their management training program. He continued to develop experience in commercial banking while working for Community First Bank. Additionally, Elias is also a successful entrepreneur with 20 years of experience building, owning and operating multiple business ventures.

Elias joined the First Coast Cardiovascular Institute administration team after the FCCI physicians and team saved his life, fulfilling their “everyday victories” promise. He is a proud father of three children: Emily, Adam and Matthew. Outside of work, he is an avid athlete and runner that has successfully conquered many endurance events.
