Danay Soler Gonzalez is an ANCC Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of healthcare experience. Born and raised in Havana, Cuba, she moved to the United States at age 22.
Danay completed her undergraduate studies at Florida Career College in Miami, FL, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University in Chicago.
Her extensive nursing experience spans various roles, including Chronic Acute Unit, Telemetry/Stroke/Medical Surgical Floor, Home Care, and Emergency Department.
In June 2021, she began working as an APRN in Chicago, focusing on transition of care. Her responsibilities included identifying and analyzing the root causes of 30-day hospital readmissions to implement systemic improvements. Her work centered on medication reconciliation, chronic and acute disease management, patient quality of life, and coordination of post-discharge care.
In May 2022, Danay relocated to Jacksonville and soon joined Dr. Castello. Cardiology has always been her passion, and she is excited to be a part of the First Coast Cardiovascular Institute team.
Outside of her professional career, Danay enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
